How to stop spending
A ceiling per build, per day and per month — yours, and checked before the work starts.
On the “Billing and ceilings” screen you can set three ceilings: per single build, per day, and per month. They are checked before a build starts, together with the balance.
When you reach a ceiling the request stops, and the message says which ceiling you hit and what its value is. There is no case where the work carries on and a bill arrives afterwards.
You can turn off “hard stop at the ceiling”, and then the ceilings are a warning only and the build carries on. The default is to stop, and we recommend leaving it that way.
A balance without enough credits stops a build in any case, even when the hard stop is off.
